AMERICAN EXPRESS

American Express has one of the world’s most trusted and powerful brands. The name stands for security, service and personal recognition. This reputation attracts customers and business partners, inspires our employees, and is valued by investors. Forged over 160 years of doing business, the brand continues to set them apart from the competition.

I have worked as a contractor to American Express with the company LS Productions for over 15 years. In that time I have delivered a wide range of products and services from digital and printed media such as presentations and guide books to single handily managing and running internal town hall events.

American Express have some of the strictest Corporate guidelines to follow, therefore it is paramount to stick by these rules and not stray away from the brand. Past campaigns have seen me having to work alongside the marketing giant Ogilvy in London.

In July 2011, The American Express Community Stadium opened. Since then I have worked on many projects in coalition with American Express, American Express Community Stadium and Albion in the Community. From fundraising award evenings at the stadium to printed Albion in the Community match day program full page adverts.

As well as the new American Express Building in Brighton which opened in 2012, American Express also carried out a full refurbishment of the Sussex House offices in Burgess Hill in 2015. On both occasions I was had to produce various welcome guides for employees which consisted of digital and printed media. From interactive digital .PDF welcome and fire guides to printed way finding pocket guides.

During the construction of the new offices in Brighton, I was given the task to produce a short welcome video. Not only did I have to challenging task of making and directing the video while the building was being constructed, I also had to source actors, storyboard, film, edit and produce the entire thing before completion.
